Home Collection

‘Home’ is a limited edition silver collection inspired by the rich and complex history of Irelands Georgian houses. Their distinctive doorways have survived it all, from wealthy extravagance to the poverty of the tenement slum, gazing out onto our city streets and holding the stories of those who gathered outside them and lived within their walls. Whispering tales of privilege and poverty, of courage and community, and of home.

‘Home’ is a study of these doorways. Two pendants, a bracelet and cufflinks examine the traditional Georgian door in a contemporary mirrored image with contrasting depth and textures. The earrings are inspired by the fanlight feature of the doorway, but also give a subtle nod to the tenement era as when not being worn they resemble an old style babies pram, typical of the families that occupied these buildings.
