The Collection
The pillar collection takes its inspiration from the pillars used in classical architecture. I love the idea of the powerful imagery of the pillar representing the hidden strength in all of us. No matter how shaky we may feel, we have a well of inner strength on which we draw in tough times.
The Piece
This is a T-Bar with a difference. A symbol of inner strength, the substantial horizontal pillar handcrafted in solid 14K yellow gold is flanked by two beautiful pavé set rare olive green diamonds for subtle sparkle. The dark oxidised silver chain with hand-forged clasp adds a pleasing weight and contrast.
The Process
The pillar collection is handcrafted in solid 14K yellow gold and oxidised silver by me in my Dublin workshop, using a variety of traditional goldsmithing techniques. Conflict free olive green diamonds are set by a master stone setter. All pieces are hallmarked by the Assay Office in Irelands historic Dublin Castle.
Customisation
Collection pieces can be customised on request in alternative fine metals and precious gemstones. I work with 14K and 18K recycled yellow, rose and unplated white gold, and depending on the piece can source alternative gemstones.
